1. Introduction

   QS 9000 is a certification standard of quality system which Big three such as General motors, Ford, Dymler-Crysler of U.S.A. require the auto parts trade supplying own company in all the world.

 

2. Overview

It is a supporting program with responsibility to certification acquisition, post control of quality system through education, diagnosis, direction, training of internal auditors with adjusting your company conditions and sizes. And it required by United Big3 automobile companies Chrysler, Ford, General motors, and domestic Big3 automobile companies(HQS in operation into Hyundai motors, under investigation into Kia and Daewoo motors)
It is a standardized quality system that United Big3 companies(GM, Ford, Daimler, Chrysler) added necessary matters to standard, requirements of ISO 9000. And they required certification acquisition to auto parts suppliers for safety and reliability assurance of automobiles.
Also most of the truck manufacturers(Freightliner, Mack Trucks, Navistar International Transportation, PACCAR, Volvo GM Heavy Truck) adopted QS 9000 quality system.
